I already have some red and orange varieties of Crocosmia here in my new-to-me garden, but I potted some yellow ones up from my old garden and put them in the soil this Spring. They seem to have taken, but no flowers as yet. Interestingly, Crocosmia is often regarded as a weed here in Cornwall as it grows freely along many of our lanes. It's very welcome in my garden, weed or not! I've just found that Burncoose Nurseries sell that gorgeous blue Stokesia; I think I might be taking a drive down to Caerhays soon . . <br />Ramblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00914227535503925006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-812046665751901579.post-51137232951124633372012-08-30T06:13:23.517+01:002012-08-30T06:13:23.517+01:00Hi Jennifer - yes it was a nice way to say thank y...Hi Jennifer - yes it was a nice way to say thank you (I have posted some more pictures of it on my other blog http://elaineintheslowlane.blogspot.com showing some of the vintage stuff - pop over and have a look.elaine https://www.blogger.com/profile/17075935631756457901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-812046665751901579.post-42563576791954334042012-08-30T03:32:47.604+01:002012-08-30T03:32:47.604+01:00Hi Elaine, What a nice thank you. Sometimes here in zone 8b it dies back to the ground, always died back when I lived in zone 7. It likes dividing every 2-3 years because the fleshy roots crowd themselves.
