Vacation Anticipation …

Dear All,

Just dropping you a little note to say that I won’t be around in ‘blogland’ next week to visit your blogs or leave comments.  We are taking advantage of what the weathermen say is going to be a good week for sunshine and are going to the coast to wander along its sandy shores and breathe in the invigorating salty air – and it will definitely be a computer-free zone.

We hope to do a lot of walking and visiting our favourite haunts, eating lots of delicious sea food and generally relaxing and enjoying the change of scenery.

I will leave you with a few pictures that I have taken this week in the Rosebank garden.

Looking forward to visiting all your blogs on our return.  Best wishes.

I'm going to have a vacation!
      I'll leave all my housework behind,
      And not have to do any cooking;
      I'll forget all the daily grind!
I'll bask in the sunshine—don't worry!—
      And so all the things that are right;
      I'll enjoy myself every minute,
      And I'll go to a dance each night!
But when my vacation is over
      And I pack my glad rags, alone,
      I'll be happy—so very happy!—
      For, really, there's no place like home!

  10. I do like the way you are photoghraphing your flowers. Please do remember us as you wander the beach. Think of us in the middle of the American prairie, land locked, yearning for adventue. Take photos and tell us all about your trip away. Rest, relax, and have a really good time.

  23. I wish you a beautiful, invigorating holiday (good to leave the computer at home!). Beautiful garden-photos (and at this time of the year you can leave the garden behind without being worried that the plants don't get enough water). So: enjoy your wandering at the coast! Britta

  31. I have just returned from a holiday in the sun and so enjoyed it. Walking deserted beaches blew the cobwebs away.

    I hope you have a wonderful time and come back refreshed and ready to enjoy the gardening season ahead.
