It rained solidly all morning - it’s getting a bit monotonous now - day after day not being able to get into the garden. Anyway we went shopping for groceries in the rain came back in the rain but by about three it finally lessened and I managed to plant three bare root rudbeckia in pots they are just sprouting but as I planted some fragile shoots broke off - so we’ll see how they recover. Bought a tray of Golden Acre cabbage - six and six pepper plants and six webbs wonder lettuce just to get me going - they are in the living room on a heat mat. Not all the tomato seeds have germinated yet so I may have to sow some more if they don’t show up soon.
The pigeons have had a right go on the purple sprouting which they’ve never done before so there is nothing left for us - all those months of waiting and nothing to show for it.
