Creating calm out of chaos

 

Fulfilling my vow to take a chunk of time everyday to work in the garden and gradually clear the list of things to do - I’ve decided that an hour is about right for me before I wilt.  This picture is the back garden which isn’t as bad as the front - so the front is where I’ve started

The front border is so overgrown not with weeds but with over planting - a failing of mine I’m afraid. Anyway I’ve made a start and collected two trugs full of  rubbish - if it’s not raining I’ll have another hour session tomorrow.

We went food shopping this morning and Lidl had lavender plants in - a pack of three for a fiver the same for a three pack of herbs - rosemary marjoram and thyme - both of these packs will invite bees in so I’m happy.
