Shopping for goodies

 

Thursday is when I spend a little me time wandering round town in and out of charity shops looking for goodies to take home - some weeks I find nothing other weeks bring a good haul home - today it was a nice watercolour print which I’ll have to reframe as the one it is in is awful and another small woodcut print

Also a brand new pair of pyjamas/leisure wear brand new with the labels still in and a Seasalt top - so quite a haul - it doesn’t happen very often but when it does I am delighted- there are so few proper shops left open these days that charity shops are the only resource in most towns - if like me you’re not a fan of shopping online.  

The weather was so mild today that I wore only a thin summer type coat and was hot even in that - did intend doing a bit of tidying in the garden this afternoon but was a little tired after my mornings exertions so read instead - hopefully the weather this weekend will be ok and I can get out and do a bit - I also want to sow some tomato seed to germinate indoors if I remember - I already have some potatoes chitting in the kitchen and maybe I can get some sweet peas going as well.
