It was so hot today I went outside early before it got too hot and planted out all the container bedding there are petunias in amongst the other plants so the slugs will make a beeline for them - we will see how long they last - every year I say no petunias but these were in a mixed pack so I had no choice. Earthed up the potatoes again as they are growing rapidly in this warmth. Stayed indoors in the afternoon far too hot for me. Got the hose out early evening and watered all the pots and the newly planted beans which are still wrapped up with fleece and that’s about it - fish for tea - Granite Harbour new series and a bit of Shetland then time for bed.
