Greenhouse Chaos

My greenhouse is in a right old state at the moment.  When it is not in use during the winter it tends to become a dumping ground for anything and everything .

It needs a really good clear out so I can wash all glass and benches and get it ready for filling up with plants and seedlings, but the weather has held me back, and it is driving me nuts.  I am by nature a tidy person, but lack of space means that I am forever re-arranging things so I can get it all in without it looking like a tip.
Normally, in the spring, it looks like this

Spot the difference - nice and tidy - plenty of room for my tomato plants - just the way it should be.  I don't know how I have accumulated so much stuff in there, and where am I going to put in all when the gardening season starts.

I have an idealistic fantasy greenhouse in my mind - that looks something like this

Now they are what I call lovely growing places - so, suitably inspired - I resolve to get the greenhouse sorted out so that it looks as though I mean business - gardening business!

  3. My greenhouses are crammed with overwintering plants at the moment. It's far too cold to put them outside yet, so my greenhouse cleaning will have to wait too.

  4. Looks a bit like my shed....No actually my shed is much worse!

  5. Either way, tidy or messy, a glass house sounds so good to me!

  6. You'll soon have it looking as it should Elaine and it will feel so good when you do. I lust after a 'beautiful' greenhouse like the white one with the floral curtains, but we live in the real world - remember :-)

  7. We don't have a greenhouse, but our shed tends to get like that. It always looks so nice after we clean it out, and then I vow to keep it that way...but for some reason it never stays that way.

  11. As pretty as your Pinterest images are, they don't look anything like a working greenhouse! And as untidy as you may feel your current greenhouse to be, you probably have tons of projects and ideas and dreams in those stacks and piles. Hope the weather will be more conducive soon.

  12. I would love to have a greenhouse like you pictured. The one I have access to at the farm is a huge growers greenhouse and although it is very well equipped, it does not have the romantic feel of the white one you showed. Being pretty would be a reason I would use it more.

  15. I wish I had a greenhouse full stop! We have a lovely summerhouse which I love sitting in and enjoy 'accessorising' etc and a garage which is chocablock with anything and everything but nowhere to actually keep seedlings, plants etc.

On a different note can I just ask how you put four photos together, it looks so professional. I'm just about to buy an editing software but not sure which one to buy. Hope you didn't mind me asking.
