Thursday thoughts

The last day of February - a month that has sped past and except for a couple of days has been pretty miserable weatherwise -  mostly to wet to do much in the garden and the other projects I have had on the go I seem to have ignored - just not in any sort of creative frame of mind.

At the beginning of the month I decided to try and lose some of the weight that had gradually accumulated over the past few months by cutting out certain foods to see if it made any difference.  I weighed myself this morning and it hasn’t made that much difference which was disappointing after a whole month of abstinence.

To cheer myself up I bought a handbag - preloved but in excellent condition - moss green and navy leather cross body bag - I only use one handbag  as a rule but it is beginning to look, shall we say, well used but I am fond of its capaciousness.

I sent for a pair of jeans online last week but they were far too long so I tried to return them but found it difficult to understand the instructions - I left them at the post office but a couple of days later they were returned to me - I may try again or I’ll probably just end up keeping them but vow never again send for clothes online - I like to be able to see and touch garments in person.
