Weather wise I would say pretty dismal - no outdoor work for me today except a small interlude in the greenhouse where I have begun the big clear out - I began by pruning back the grapevine - it has been fruiting well these past two years - but it had outgrown its space and there was a lot of dead wood in the middle so I will sacrifice a harvest this year to get it back in shape. I began to get cold so I abandoned the greenhouse for the warmth of the house. I visited my friend after lunch for an hour or so - she had been to the docs for an injection in her knee to ease the pain a little - she said it hurt when the needle went in.
Chicken casserole for dinner - I cut off the sprout tops the other day and we had them tonight - they were delicious - I enjoyed them more than the actual sprouts.
