Just a quickie - it’s late and I’m tired. A hot day well it seemed hot after all the indifferent weather we’ve had but managed to plant up the window box with trailing geraniums and pull out the rest of the tulips and store them away. Husband began the job of re-boarding one of the raised veg beds and then he mowed the back lawns. I washed all the towels which dried on the line very quickly. Visited a friend for a catch up chat and rang the pond man to help with the pond which badly needs attention. Cooked a bacon and mushroom chowder for tea. Watched another episode of Red Eye then much needed shut eye.
